FAQs

What condition should my quilt top be in?

Your quilt top should be:

  • Pressed
  • Seams secure
  • Square and trimmed

If I notice anything that needs repair, I’ll contact you before doing any work.

How big should my backing be?

Backing should be 3–4 inches larger than your quilt top on all sides. This gives enough room for loading and proper tension during quilting.

Do I have to provide batting and backing?

You can, but you don’t have to.

  • You can send your own batting and backing
  • Or I can provide them for an additional cost

Just select your preference in the request form.

How long does quilting usually take?

Typical turnaround is:

2–6 weeks depending on the season and the complexity of your quilt.

Holiday deadlines fill quickly, so earlier is always better.

Do you offer binding services?

Yes. Binding is available as an add-on so your quilt comes back completely finished and ready to use or gift.
